translations of many of Silva’s ecosystem-based
conservation planning documents are now available. Translation
was done by staff of Pacific Environment based in San Francisco.

Hammond is putting the finishing touches on Maintaining
Whole Systems on Earth’s Crown: Ecosystem-based planning
for the boreal forest, a handbook designed for the boreal
